How many times have you put your health on the back burner but wonder why you are feeling sluggish, exhausted, unmotivated, or defeated?  Being in good standing with your health is going to elevate you and your brand in all aspects of your life.  You cannot be your best self if your health is in the toilet.  Taking care of your health means getting quality sleep, taking mental health days, visiting your doctor or any specialist you may have, eating right, and being active most days throughout the week.  When you take care of your body your body will take care of you.  Participating in healthy activities releases feel good hormones, such as, dopamine, progesterone, oxytocin, serotonin, and estrogen.  Many people pop pills and do drugs to get a happy sensation not knowing that you can get a natural high by living a healthy lifestyle.  Take a closer look at how your health plays a major role in your personal brand.

1.     How you do one thing is how you do all things.  Your health is the single most important thing you can take care of.  Taking care of your health trumps your partner, your children, your job, your social life, and everything else.  If you are putting off the most important factor of your life you are going to put off the most important factors in your personal and business brand.  If you truly understand that your health is crucial then you understand that your personal and business brand cannot reach it’s fullest potential.  When the person in the driver side, meaning yourself, cannot think straight or make boss decisions it may be due to your current health.

2.    Energy. The most common phrase I here now is “I’m tired or I’m exhausted,” I’m guilty too.  We are all busy with work, family, business, but never too busy taking care of our health.  We probably wouldn’t be so tired if we took the time to exercise, eat right, and get an adequate amount of sleep.  When you are living a healthy lifestyle you will have more energy.  Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep, start exercising, and eat healthier, and I guarantee that you will see a difference in your energy levels.  Now if you have a serious medical illness you might need a little more attention to your health. I dare you to try it for yourself and you will see that you will have more energy than before.  When you have more energy you now have the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual capacity to build a winning brand.  Just like your car can’t run without gas, you cannot build a successful build without energy. 

3.    Happiness is the highest form of health.  Being happy is healthy; being healthy brings happiness.  Being happy and healthy reflects in your day-to-day life including, the work that you produce, the clothes you wear, the things that you say, the things you share on social media, the way you interact with others, and the way you interact with yourself.  Happiness is contagious and people can feel when you’re happy just like people can feel when you’re unhappy and mean spirited.  Your energy can be felt amongst others so make sure your energy gives off good vibes.  Just know when people like you and the energy you give off is positive they will more likely do business with you.   

If you are not walking down the path to healthy living I want you to start, not now, but right now.  I guarantee you will feel better, look better, and do produce greatness.  Your brand is a reflection of your lifestyle.  Healthy living is correlated with making good decisions, being able to focus, and being productive.  You can just about guess what unhealthy living correlates with, yes you guessed correctly, making poor and irrational decisions, not being able to focus, and constantly being fatigue.  Take care of your body, make healthy decisions and those qualities will naturally reflect in your brand.
